Advancement
Cub Scout activities focus on earning badges that correspond to each grade level, with each badge representing a specific rank. Advancement refers to the progress a Cub Scout makes towards achieving their rank badge. All activities for each rank are detailed in the Cub Scout handbooks.
The activities cover a variety of topics, such as hiking, nature, science, citizenship, first aid, sports, and more. As a Cub Scout advances towards their rank badge, they complete different adventures. Upon finishing an adventure, a Cub Scout receives recognition in the form of an adventure loop or adventure pin.
